How We Work with Clients
Couples Therapy
Relationships influence not only how we connect with others, but also how we understand ourselves. We work with couples experiencing conflict, infidelity, changes in trust, intimacy concerns, and significant transitions. Our work explores the patterns couples have developed, the expectations and experiences each partner brings into the relationship, and how their individual shared identities influence the way they relate to one another.
Family Therapy
Families develop their own ways of communicating, responding to challenges, and understanding each person’s role. We work with families navigating conflict, parenting differences, strained relationships, and changes in family structure or dynamics. Therapy explores how these patterns develop, how individual and family identities are shaped over time, and how families can reconsider expectations and ways of relating that may no longer serve them.
Individual Therapy
Our individual work focuses on understand people within the context of their lives rather than viewing concerns in isolation. We support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, identity concerns, and life transitions. Together, we explore how relationships, family experiences, social expectations, and broader systems have influences their sense of self and the ways they navigate the world.
People don’t develop their beliefs, identities, or ways of relating in isolation. Families, relationships, communities, cultural expectations, and broader social experiences contribute to how we understand ourselves and respond to the world.
Our approach is systemic and relational. This means we’re interested not only in the concern that bring someone to therapy, but also in how those concerns developed, what maintains them, and how they are understood within the person’s relationships and environment.
We work collaboratively with clients to explore these influences, consider different perspectives, and identify changes that fit their values and circumstances.
